Overview

Based on Team AssociatedÆs original 1/18 electric RC18B platform, the new unassembled Factory Team kit is on a whole new level of performance by including all of the trick A-Team parts.

Chassis: Plastic .079" (2mm) thick
Drive: Four wheel shaft driven
Ball Bearings: Full set included (15 total)
Ball Differentials: Front and rear adjustable, carbide steel
Shocks: Blue aluminum bodied, oil-filled with springs
Suspension: Lower suspension arms are symmetrical and work with the molded upper suspension links to ensure that the 18B suspension
geometry is optimized right out of the box. Captured suspension hinge pins-no E-clips.

Associated Factory Team B44 project came to life in 2003 as a cooperative effort between Team Associated and J Concepts’ Jason Ruona and Brad Reelfs. After Team Associated’s Ryan Cavalieri won the 2005 IFMAR World Championships in Collegno, Italy with the BJ4 Worlds Edition, Area 51 shifted into overdrive to produce a true 'Associated' inspired 4WD buggy that would continue to dominate the 4WD off road racing class. The B44 is the result of this two-year development effort.
