HPI Racing Nitro Star .15 cu in (2.49cc)T-15 Pull Start Engine. This is the standard engine in the Nitro MT 2, RTR 3 Evo and Nitro Rush Evo, this engine features a pullstarter, dual needle 6mm rotary carb, and 1.2 hp for extra power!

ABC construction. 6mm Dual Needle Rotary carb. Side exhaust. Powder black case. Tall powder gray heatsink head (10 fins). Aggressive porting. Standard shaft.


Requires: Glow fuel and glow starter

BAD ENGINE April 24, 2013

I purchased this engine with all HPI required parts.....installed the engine on a Duratrax nitro evader st and proceeded with the factory break-in process.  halfway through the first tank of fuel the glow plug failed.  I replaced the glow plug and tried to continue the factory break-in process but on the third tank of fuel the engine sputtered and died.  The connecting rod bushing had been completely destroyed damaging the rest of the engine.  DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! HPI IS GARBAGE!!!

Pull starter string came all the way out after second pull and never pulked it more than four inches or so
