when i got this truck i was excited but i got some speed pack batteries and fried my charger but get a tenergy smart charger 7.2-12 volt and you should work great love it it is strong and good on dirt.

This truck is great, really tough, can handle way more powerful motors and is a good racer to boot.
It's downfall: I've had an awful experience with the electronics... two of the stcok ESC have gotten fried by my modest 2S LiPo, the motor wore out after maybe 10 cycles and started to smoke.
This truck is really good though, now that I've gone to a Novak Ballistic 8.5T brushless combo the truck has been handling exceptionally well.
