The 2721 features the same powerful coreless motor and proven reliable amplifier as the 4721, but with a significantly strengthened gear train. It has a hard anodized aluminum output gear and brass and hardened steel counter gears. The output gear is hard coated aluminum, so it's lightweight, and the hard-coated surfaces are incredibly tough and resistant to wear.

Headlining the new servo selection is the Z8800S and Z8800T Digital Race Servos. The "S" and "T" designates whether the servo is the "speed" or "torque" version. JR has applied this designation to all its new race servos to make identification easier.
