This BGX-1 is the engine of choice for those Giant Scale Modelers. The BGX-1 35cc Engine was designed as a lighter, more powerful, less vibration, and more compact alternative to the converted chainsaw gasoline engines. One drawback; fuel economy is better with the chainsaw engines, and fuel is less expensive. The BGX-1 includes an engine mount that mounts to the firewall in the same bolt pattern as the backplate-style engine mounts that come with SuperTigre's models S2000, S2500, and S3000(K) engines. You can directly replace any of those engines with the BGX-1 without redrilling your firewall. This engine is covered under the O.S. 2-YEAR WARRANTY.

FS-91 Surpass 4-stroke Engine with Pump Unit. This engine does not use a choke valve OR a return fuel line to the tank. There are No Tools OR Extra Needle Valve, as stated in the instructions.

O.S. Ducted Fan Engines are designed to develop high power at high RPM. These are used in Jet (ducted fan) Models where the engine drives a turbine-like impeller (compressor) that draws a large quantity of air through a shroud to create thrust. These engines are NOT covered under the O.S. 2-year warranty. Because this is a high-performance engine, reliability is sacrificed. The Ducted Fan does NOT come with this engine. One must purchase the fan to fit BOTH the engine size and the specific plane (these fan units are typically manufactured by the same people who make the plane kit - a company like Jet Hangar Hobbies.
