| Pro-Tek powerful Li-Polymer battery pack has a powerful punch with 7.4V and 1800mAh run time. This pack is sure to push your electric helicopter or plane to literally new heights!
These packs are also ideal for use as saddle packs in electric RC cars. With the 20C rating they have a powerful punch, and when wired in parallel provide 3600mAh run time. Enough for any electric main event. For mounting in a saddle pack configuration for cars like the Associated B44, we recommend you mount the battery flat to the chassis and use some kind of velcro or servo tape to secure them to the upper battery strap. This will stop the batteries from sliding out of the car sideways. To mount them flat you may need to remove the plastic battery holder from the chassis. If you have a strap permanently attached to the top of each battery, you can easily remove them from the vehicle for charging and simply put another battery in it's place.
This pack will also make a great receiver pack for airplanes and helicopters! Perfect for high current draw applications like large scale airplanes, 50-90 size nitro helicopters etc. With a 20C (36A) continuous current rating, these batteries will handle any current draw you need for your airplane and helicopter! When using high energy Li-Polymer Batteries, please do not over-discharge or over-charge batteries as this will result in over heated batteries. Discharging capacity can't exceed 80% of the max capacity of the pack after full charging to ensure a good cycle performance. It is recommended to fully charge a brand new battery before using and only discharge the battery 50% for first 5 cycles. Always monitor race time and/or set a low voltage warning on ESC (End voltage cannot be lower than 3.2v per cell) Do not use the battery that has too low a voltage.
Do not expose batteries to sunshine or store/charge batteries at the temperature above 35°C or in a closed car. The high temperature environment could cause damage to the pack or make it burst. If the battery becomes hot while fast charging, high current discharging or racing, do not charge the battery until it has cooled completely. Wait about 20 mins, then inspect prior to recharging. |
