| RB Concept with its 4.67cc, incredible engine can power any Truggy, whatever its weight, while maintaining smooth acceleration and good fuel consumption! It fits most of the .21 or .25 Truggy but also the .21 off-road cars. The engine keeps the exclusive 7-Port /M.E.S. with a new combustion chamber and the low profile L2G RB head. The new crankcase has been reinforced with an over sized engine mount.
Crankcase
Light, rigid and strong to get the most optimal performances, the conception of this new crankcase has been based on these criteria. The moulding of the crankcase is realized with a vacuum system to avoid air cavity's during the moulding process. The engine mounts has been oversized to reinforce the case from the tension coming from the Truggy’s chassis. The internal porting of this new RT crankcase have been improved and optimized to guide even better the gasflow. Included you will find the o-ring system for the carburettor to stop the o-ring from being damaged when disassembling and assembling the carburettor from the crankcase.
Porting
The special designed porting allows us to optimize the gasflow in combination with the 7 intake ports of our sleeve. Additional main side boost ports have been added to improve central gasflow. Despite the impressive and massive horsepower available in our RB CONCEPT RT the fuel consumption is more than acceptable!
Piston Liner
The RT piston/Liner is of the type ABC chromed and rectified, an improved vacuum casted piston is aligned with precision in the sleeve to get the best fit, performances and a long life! The sleeve features 7 intake ports and 3 exhaust port (Multi Exhaust System). This sleeve is perfectly adapted on the porting of the crankcase of the RT using the latest technologies available.
Conrod
The Conrod of the RT is manufactured from unique high quality, ultra sound checked aluminum, it has got 2 special bushings inserted and expanded using the latest technology available. The aerodynamic designed shape is developed to obtain less obstruction in the internal gasflow and a special groove is made for better lubrification performance and reliability.
Crankshaft
Result after a long experience and generations high competition RB CONCEPT racing engines, the RB Concept Bi-Turbo crankshaft of the RB Concept RT is one of its secrets getting available a usable power range and balance.
Bearings
The front-bearing of this RT features a rubber shield to prevent dust or water to come into the engine and deteriorating the bearing itself. The 14mm rear-bearing is of very high quality and has its line of balls placed more close to the conrod to get a better stability of the crankshaft.
Cooling-head
The new RB CONCEPT RT L2G cooling head lowers the centre of gravity to improve the handing of the car and the new shape increases the cooling capacity.
Carburetor
The RT carburettor is mainly made out of nylon to prevent overheating of the fuel coming into the engine(vaporlock) when the engine is very hot. The base of the carburetor has a steel insert which goes through till the top of the housing, so strength and stability is assured.
Glowplug
The RT comes with a new combustion chamber to increase the drivability and the smoothness of the engine. The combustion chamber is a separated parts and receive a standard plug. |
