After quickly earning itself the reputation as a powerful bike, Yamaha also released the XS1100 as a "Special" factory custom bike which offered pullback handlebars, a stepped seat, a smaller wider rear wheel, a smaller capacity tear-drop gas tank, fully adjustable suspension, and an altered frame.
