This is the Team Durango DEX210 1:10 2WD Electric Off-Road Buggy Kit. The DEX210 is unique and that's why the gearbox design, Team Durango's 'Hybrid technology,' has a pending patent (GB1112236.3). The DEX210 allows you to choose if you want the motor to be in rear- or mid-motor position. Not only that, but you can choose whether you want the motor to be on the left or right-hand side of the car.
- 6061 T-6 Aluminum chassis with black plastic side guards, 0.098" (2.5mm) thick
- Rear wheel drive
- Aluminum body, oil-filled shocks with additional blank pistons
- Composite Shock Towers
- Ball type differentials
- Clear polycarbonate body with clear rear wing
- Dish style wheels, yellow in color 2.2" (56mm) diameter, rear 1.4" (36mm) wide, front 0.94" (24mm) wide, 12mm hex
- Adjustable caster/toe-in
- Adjustable camber
All of these configuration options are available with the gearbox unit and without altering the suspension geometry. The ability to tune the weight distribution and torque orientation of the motor, without changing your suspension set-up, is what makes the DEX210 so unique. The DEX210 is arguably the most tuneable, yet user friendly pro electric off road kit that's available today.
The DEX210 also comes with Team Durango's 'Fat Shock' Big Bore shock absorbers, which are already race proven on the DEX410 and DESC410R. With a full range of optional Big Bore springs available, the Team Durango DEX210 can be fine-tuned for any track and any condition.
A full range of pistons is included in the kit - Team Durango even included blank pistons so you can drill your own for the ultimate in shock tuning. The shocks may be FAT but the chassis sure isn't. Team Durango 6061 T6 2.5mm hard anodized aluminum chassis plate is slim, trim and beautiful. Combined with stylish composite side-rails and designed to accommodate modern electrics, the chassis assembly on the DEX210 offers flex and strength, giving you control on the toughest, roughest and smoothest of race tracks. The Team Durango DEX210 has been designed with all racers in mind, so both stick and saddle pack (ROAR legal) batteries can be used.
The DEX210 is a car that gives the racer numerous options with the least amount of fuss. Team Durango has kept all of the parts you'll need to a minimum, while still allowing you maximum control over how you can configure the buggy.
Other buggies that offer rear and mid-motor configurations require you to have two different gearboxes and two different bodyshells, and here the Team Durango styled bodyshell is the exception. Team Durango engineers and designers decided early on that the DEX210 should have only one bodyshell, regardless of the configuration of the buggy. With the use of a special 'cowl' system, the DEX210 can use the same bodyshell, saving you time and money.
Getting the setup options you want without expensive optional parts is what the Team Durango DEX210 is all about. Using specially designed inserts to change rear toe-in, front caster and the front axle position - The DEX210 is an ultra-adjustable platform, designed to be tuned to almost any track or condition you can throw it at. The DEX210 has more setup and tuning options in-the-kit than any other 2WD before - this is just a small example of the features that make the DEX210 from Team Durango such a ground breaking buggy.
