This is a great Starter Truck! It's fast enough and rugged enough for most terrain. Lots of fun to play with. It's quick and easy to set up and run, I will always keep this around. Read and follow instructions carefully on adjusting slipper clutch and programming the ESC. Two negatives on this truck is: 1. No detailed repair instructions included; lots of trial and error on how stuff is fixed or changed out if you`re a novice. 2. Tough Yes; but if you plan on running it through very rough terrain, heavy gravel and/or lots of jumping, plan on upgrading the entire suspension to all metal parts. Specifically the shock towers mounts, caster blocks, stub axle hubs, tie-rods; and changing out the bearings to the Traxxas ball bearing types is a must. These are a poor design that wears out fast.

This is a great truck. Even though Im now moving on to bigger and meaner trucks I will always keep my Stampede! Its a great starter truck and just a great truck to have. Dont do jumps with out wheelie bar. Other then that this truck rocks!
