Traxxas 12 Turn Motor for the New XL-5 Stampede, Slash and Rustler. Titan; 12-Turn 550 Modified Motor. The Rustler includes a powerful Titan 12T 550 modified motor with internal cooling fan. An industry first for this class of truck. Stock motor supplied with the Traxxas Stampede and Rustler series. Preinstalled leads, capacitors and connectors.
The Titan 12T 550 modified motor is designed for incredible mod-motor power output with virtually maintenance-free operation, and long-lasting performance. The Titan 12T 550 motor’s integrated cooling fan pulls cool air through the motor to keep temperatures down. A cooler running motor allows faster speeds, longer runtime, and extended motor life. NOTE: Titan 12T motors are intended for use in single motor and single battery pack applications, up to 8.4 volts. Traxxas does not recommend the use of Titan 12T motors in dual motor vehicles, such as the E-Maxx, Villain, or Villain EX. Requires: Installing in vehicle

This motor is junk. Don't waste your money. Brush holders keep breaking. It doesn't matter how you break the motor in. Purchased 2 trucks for my kids for Christmas 12/25/12. Have had less than 2 months and I have 6 motors that will not run. Traxxas says they have had no problems with their motors. Local Traxxas hobby shop says the same thing.  They sent me 4 motors and 2 of them will not run now. Save your money and go brushless. I like the trucks but the titan 12t 550 motor is complete junk I told traxxas that as well.
