Racers Edge used about a quart of fuel was used when they first tested these shoes. They showed very little signs of wear after the run. They didn't deform or fold over the springs like many other alum shoes do that are on the market today. These are the longest lasting clutch shoes that we have ever used in one of our test vehicles. It is highly recomended to use a hardened clutch bell when using any alum clutch shoe!!!
