Please note: If you are paying with a credit card, we will only ship to the address where the credit card bill is sent every month (billing address). If you want to send a "gift" to an address that is not the billing address, please follow the instructions here.

Note:

For  Fedex a business day does not include Saturdays,Sundays, or holidays. Overnight packages ordered on Friday will not arrive until Monday. Please contact us by phone for special Saturday deliveries.
Example: You ship a package on Monday that takes 2 business days to arrive. You do not count the day you ship as a business day, so your package would arrive on Wednesday, the second business day after the ship date.

RC Planet uses UPS Ground, Fedex, and United States Postal Service for all domestic shipments within the continental U.S. Please note, Fed Ex and UPS do not ship to P.O. Boxes. Normal shipping times can be checked with this chart and the above color map. Orders received by 11 AM, Mountain Standard Time will be delivered to the following states by the days indicated. Days stated do not include weekends or Holidays. These dates include order processing, packing, and handling times.

Northern California and Western Nevada - Up to 3 business days
Western states -  Up to 2 to 3 business days
Rocky Mountain States - 1 to 2 business days
Central States -  3 to 4 business days
East Coast States - Up to 5 business days

Express Delivery

If an order includes items that can and cannot be expressed delivered, and you want to "express deliver " the items that can be expedited, the total shipping fees will reflect regular ground rates and express rates. (not all items will be expressed)

PARTIAL SHIPMENTS:

We make every effort to ship all products in a single shipment. If, for any reason, we cannot ship one or more items due to backorder, we will ship the parts that are available and credit your account accordingly. If a small item (most parts) from a large order (complete car, truck, or boat kits) cannot be shipped, credit may only be for the part without an adjustment in shipping. This is because shipping charges is based on the dimensions of the box. We will contact you if the part is backordered to verify if you are willing to wait for the backordered part to ship.

CANCELING ORDERS:

You may cancel an order within 24 hours if the order has not shipped yet by calling 866-787-5487. Cancellation of orders already being processed by our shipping department will be subject to a 10% cancellation fee based on the total amount of the order. We cannot cancel orders that are already packed and/or shipped. If your order has already been shipped by the time we receive your cancellation request, you must go through the return process and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Refusal of the shipment from the carrier will result to a two-way shipping charge. We strongly recommend that you accept the merchandise and then proceed through our normal return process.

RECEIVING PARTS:

Please inspect the parts immediately after receiving your order. Damages and evidence of tampering on the outer packaging must be noted on the delivery receipt of the driver. DAMAGES MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 48 HOURS of receiving the order. No exceptions WRONG ITEMS MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 5 BUSINESS DAYS of receiving the order. No exceptions

INCORRECT PARTS:

Although we do everything we can to get the right part to you, unusual mistakes can happen. If we ship the wrong part, we will pick it up and replace it. Please let us know immediately if you receive the wrong part by calling our Customer Service Desk at 866-787-5487. The replacement item will be shipped when we receive the wrong item. Replacements will be shipped based on the original shipping method.

LOST PACKAGE POLICY

 
On the rare occasion that a package is lost in transit, either by United States Postal Service (USPS) or Fedex, we reserve the right to wait up to 30 days from the inquiry or trace date to determine if the package is actually lost. R/C Planet will not hold the purchaser's funds any longer than possible. However, we need to follow proper postal procedures to determine if the package was signed by another person, stolen or lost. We will refund the entire purchase price unless proof of delivery can be obtained (i.e. the package shows delivery confirmation and/or was signed for). Once the package is successfully delivered, we are not responsible for theft or damage to the merchandise. When using a forwarding company, we are not responsible for lost or damaged merchandise after the forwarding company has accepted delivery. If a package is delivered damaged or is missing products that were shipped you must contact the shipping company and R/C Planet within 24 hours so we can initiate a claim with the shipping carrier who will inspect the package to determine how to proceed with the claim. Money for lost packages will not be refunded unless the above procedure is followed.
 
WARRANTIES:

  All Warranties are handled directly by the respective manufacturers that produced the item in question. You will need a copy of your original receipt and warranties must be claimed prior to the warranty expiration date set by the manufacturer. For a list of Manufacturers see the link on our hompage.

RETURNING A PART:

Unless otherwise stated above, you may return a part for a refund within 21 days of receiving it subject to a 20% restocking fee (based on the cost of the part) if the part is still in the original packaging. We cannot accept returns of items that have been opened or used.. FREIGHT CHARGES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

International Orders

R/C Planet ships all over the world. Please send payment in the form of an International Money Order in U.S. Funds, or use your credit card, or Paypal (Verified Only). Please do not request that we falsify invoices or suppress tariff codes or country-of-origin information.

While we do ship to most international destinations, we are unable to serve the countries listed below at this time due to US law or credit card security reasons.

Orders intended to ship to Afghanistan, Brunei, Comoros, Cuba, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Liberia, Libya, Malaysia, Nigeria, North Korea, Pakistan, Somalia, Sudan, or Syria are not accepted by R/C Planet.

Our international postage charges are based on the size and weight of the package. To determine the cost of shipping to an international destination simply place the items you wish to order in your shopping cart and proceed to checkout. You should see the shipping charge before having to enter your credit card information.

Please note that some manufacturers will not honor warranty claims for customers outside of the USA and Canada (HPI, in particular).

International USPS Delivery Times:

IMPORT TAX: You may have to pay an IMPORT TAX upon receiving the package. This tax is charged by YOUR COUNTRY - NOT US. You are importing goods into your country, so it is YOUR responsibility to pay all applicable taxes. Again - we cannot be held responsible for knowing the laws of your country. If an import tax is required, UPS will collect it before delivering the package.

To protect against credit card fraud, we MUST ship all credit card orders to the BILLING ADDRESS of the credit card. If you place an order with us to ship to a different country from the billing address on the card, we will NOT ship the order.

USPS Global Priority Mail - (4 - 6 days According to USPS Postal service but may take longer if shipment is delayed through customs.) (These packages are not insured and cannot be tracked! The customer is responsible for any damage or loss that might occur when using this shipping method.) This method is not available for package weighing more than 4 pounds or larger than 12" in length. 

(If your order has not arrived after 30 days, we will need to file an inquiry form with the USPS. That usually takes 30 days to process. If the USPS doesn't find the lost package, an insurance claim will then be filed with the USPS which could take 30-90 additional days to process. Replacement orders will not be sent out until the inquiry and claim process is complete.)

Placing an International order

1. Add the items you want to purchase into your shopping cart by selecting "buy now" or "add to cart"

2. Select your country from the dropdown list under shipping information.

3. Select your State/Province/Region from the dropdown list. If your State/Province/Region is not listed leave this box blank and you will be able to enter the info on the following page by typing it manually.

4. Enter shipping zip code or postal code.

5. Select method of shipping. Currently these are your options USPS Postal Outside US, and UPS Worldwide Expedited.

6. Select payment method from the dropdown list.

7. Select "Next"

8. Enter all information requested on this form. For international orders billing address must match shipping address. You must also include the CVA code or the item will not be shipped. For help finding the CVA code on your credit card go to this link Credit Card Code(CVA code)

9. After you have entered all the info required on the checkout page hit next to review your final order.

10. Finalize order once you have verified that all the info you have entered is correct.

Return Policy and instructions for returning a package
 

Returns

You may return NEW, UNOPENED items within 21 days of delivery for a full refund, minus shipping costs and a 6% card processing fee if a credit card was used for the purchase. We will also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error.

Items that are opened must be in new and resalable condition and are subject to a 20% restocking fee. If the packaging has been damaged when the package was opened please do not return the item to us as it will be refused for credit. If you are not sure that a part you have purchased will fit your vehicle please be carefull when you open the package so it can be repackaged for return if neccesary. Electronics are NOT returnable and will always default to the manufacturers warranty. All returns must be in "NEW" and "UNUSED" condition.

If you need to return an item, please follow these steps (this information is also available on the back of the packing slip):

1) Contact R/C Planet Customer Service to initiate your return by phone or by email sales@rcplanet.com

2) Please ask for an RMA number which will be issued by one of our sales associates. When we issue an RMA number this is not a guarantee that your return will be excepted, but helps us identify the package when it arrives in our warehouse. Notes will be added to your account stating the reason for return and condition of the package as described by the customer.

3) Please include your RMA number on the outside of the box and the reason for the return on the packing slip to facilitate the processing of your return

4) Please include your packing slip in the box and send the package to the following address so we can process your return:

Items which have been opened and are defective or used and need warrantee attention will be handled directy by the manufacturer ONLY. Please contact the manfacturer directly. Please note that we are not responsible for defective merchandise and cannot provide refunds for any used and/or defective merchandise.
