I bought the 5300Kv for my son's 1/18th scale LaTrax Teton because the 6800Kv is discontinued I think. I was thinking or returning it for the 8200Kv. Would the 8200Kv be too much for the Teton? Is the 5300Kv a better upgrade?
We would recommend the 5300kv for the Teton, the extra torque that the 5300 provides will help since the Teton is a 4x4.
I bought the 5300Kv motor for my son because the 6800Kv motor has been discontinued, I guess. Would this motor be a better choice, or is the 5300Kv a good fit?
The 8200 has more RPM but will have less torque, for most applications we would recommend the 5300kv.
Will this motor fit in the Dromida 1/18 Scale Brushless Touring Car 2.4GHz RTR DIDC0074 ? Can I use the stock ESC?
This would physically fit in that chassis but you would probably want to get the ESC as well since the Castle ESC will handle more power than the stock. Also the kv rating on this one is a bit high we would recommend the 5300kv motor and ESC combo.
What ESC should I get with this motor? I have a Traxxas Slash 1/10.
This is a micro motor so it will not fit in the 1/10th Slash.
