"I replaced my stock Reedy brushed motor in my SC10 with this one, and my truck is really fast, and has a lot of power, great upgrade from brushed to brushless. "
Recommended to buy: Yes
I have a cross-RC pg4l and I want to make it go a little faster I have a gens Ace 3s lipo so would this work in it it's also a 2 speed if that matters?
We do not sell the PG4L so we are not real familiar with it. Although finding it on the internet it does look like this motor and ESC will fit and work in it. Since it is a 4x4 you might get a bit more performance out of the 2400kv system which is part #CSE010-0160-00 with this system you can run up to 6s packs and will have much more torque as long as if your truck is under 6.5 LBS.
i was thinking about putting this in my Traxxas Stampede 2wd What battery combination would you recommend it has 90T spur gear and a 19T pinion gear we are going to the dunes this summer so i wanted your guys opinion
That should provide plenty of power with a 2s lipo but if you wanted to get a bit more out of it you should be able to run a 3s with out any issues just keep an eye on your temperatures.
How fast will this go inside of a Traxxas slash 2wd
This all depends on your gear ratio and what battery pack you're using, with the right gearing and pack you should be able to get about 70 or more out of it, just keep an eye on your temperatures.
will this fit the 1/16 slash. do I need any other things to attach it
This will fit the 1/16th Slash if it is the newer model that has the 12t Titan motor in it. You will need to solder the battery plug wire on and then trim the chassis to make the ESC fit but it is an easy installation.
Does this system require programming?
The ESC does come pre programmed with the factory default settings which can be changed but don't need to be as long as the settings match your application. The ESC will have to have the battery plug of your choice soldered on and then calibrated to your transmitter but other than that you should be set. Programming and setting it up is real easy and it will come with an easy instruction sheet with all the info needed.
