"This is a retirement gift to my husband, I haven't given it yet but I sneaked a peak and wow it is really beautiful."
Recommended to buy: Yes
I would like to by this as a gift, but was wondering if this boat can run in salt water or just fresh water.
This information has been pulled from the owners manual, NOTICE : Running the boat in saltwater could cause some parts to corrode. If you run the boat in saltwater, rinse it thoroughly in freshwater after each use and lubricate the drive system. NOTICE: Because of its corrosive effects, running this product in saltwater is at the discretion of the modeler.
I have never purchased a RC boat. I am very interested in your Pro Boat Volere. In addition to the equipment that comes with this model, is all I need to purchase is a battery charger? Or is there something else I need?
This boat does come with a charger and pack so all you need to run it is the 4 AA batteries for the transmitter but extra packs do come in handy so you can have one charging while one is in the boat. The part number for the pack is DYN1472.
