This is the 25.2V waterproof Mamba X SCT ProSensorsed ESC with a 1410-3800Kv sensored motor and 5mm connectors from Castle Creations. Castle Creations is proud to announce their newest flagship surface product, the Mamba X EXTREME 1:10 scale waterproof ESC. While designing this new ESC for the modern RC enthusiast, Castle wanted to address three main concepts: Versatility, reliability, and performance. These are the pillars of the Mamba X design and the driving forces behind the feature-packed controller.

The Mamba X is incredibly versatile and capable of powering a wide variety of applications ranging from 2S to 6S and vehicles ranging from 1/10th scale to 1/8th scale. Whether you are racing at the track with your 2WD buggy, bashing through mud puddles in your SCT or monster truck, or navigating a hardcore crawling excursion, this controller raises the bar to a whole new level.

ESCs live a rough life - experiencing rough landings, accidental collisions, and the occasional splash in a puddle. As RC enthusiast themselves, Castle engineers understand this and designed the Mamba X to endure these situations and power through them. It is housed in a rugged CNC-machined aluminum case and then potted in waterproof epoxy. This not only protects the electronics but ensures any heat generated in the controller can easily be dissipated through the case.

The high-performance Mamba X includes an integrated and powerful 8A adjustable BEC and can push the most extreme 1/10th scale setups and 1/8th scale race buggies. SmartSense allows you to take advantage of smooth, cog-free, and predictable sensored starts, and Castle's new and improved throttle response keeps you ahead of the competition.

Castle Creations Mamba X SCT 1/10 Brushless Combo w/1410 Sensored Motor
All I run is castle Combo in all my RCs. Previous review about esc burning up isn’t something I’ve ever experienced with castle. People use cheap batteries and expect miracles to happen. I have 2 of these combo, one is my rustler and one in slash 4X4, both combos work amazing and stay cool with proper gearing and high quality battery. I use a 3s smc 90c 7400mah battery on the rustler and I blow up my tires many times. It’s got tremendous amount of torque and sensored operation is smooth, no cogging at low speed.

Castle Creations Mamba X SCT 1/10 Brushless Combo w/1410 Sensored Motor
Installed it in my Losi ten scte and the ESC burned up shooting 2 foot flames in the air. I literally ran it once and it almost burned up my vehicle on 3s. Glad it didn’t catch the battery pack on fire.
