Hitec Electronics are good products.
I have been using Hitec X1 for three years without any malfunctions.
Electronics are that way, sometimes they fail.
Also the HiTec website does not have the latest Firmware, so when I wanted to troubleshoot the issue ( the android connection issues) I ended update and will downgrading the FW from the website and thought I would be able to get the latest one from the website or the PC app but could not find the version that came with the unit.
I ended up learning that SkyRC and Dynamite both have the same model just different colors. The customer service even said its okay to use the SkyRC FW since it was the latest one.
The PC software works perfectly and I find myself not touching the unit. Overall I am satisfied with this charger.
Also it does NOT have IC5 leads make sure to get those if you need them.
