More information about Great Planes Super Sportster 40 MkII ARF .40-.46,55.5" GPMA1042

Great Planes Sportster is a popular sport ace with prebuilt ease! Its classic looks, superior design and smooth flight habits have made the Super Sportster one of Great Planes' most popular models a favorite for low-wing training AND serious sport flying. You'll be equally impressed by the all-wood quality of this almost ready-to-fly version: It goes together like a dream, with an excellent parts fit for easy assembly and outstanding strength.

Spend your time flying, not building! The 90% prebuilt Super Sportster 40 MKII ARF is constructed using only the best materials and manufacturing methods including an all-wood framework, expertly applied MonoKot® covering and durable fiberglass wheel pants. The Super Sportster 40 MKII ARF can be ready for flight in as little as 15-20 hours. Installation of your on-board radio equipment is easy, thanks to the preinstalled servo tray in the model's fuselage. It correctly locates the throttle, elevator, and rudder servos automatically. A pre-cut aileron servo tray easily locates the aileron servo in the center section of the wing.

Its forgiving flight characteristics make the Super Sportster 40 MKII ARF a fine way to ease yourself into low-wing piloting. The plane offers excellent control authority at all speeds and gives you experienced sport pilots a great opportunity to exercise and advance your skills.
