By far one of thee best transmitters on the market right Now. This controller can control a lot of variables. Everything is super easy to navigate and change around. I highly recommend it.
It a good trammiter, got it for my daughter she loves it. All Sanwa products are good.
I use Sanwa in my racing program but wanted something simpler to take out on crawls and trail rides with my friends. The MX-6 with it's waterproof receivers and easy menu navigation still gives the Sanwa feel when driving, just in a simpler package. It has great steering throw to maximise end points on crawlers with large steering angles.
The only small downside is the receivers are very big. Too big for the electronics box on either my TRX-4 Sport or Axial UMG10. I had to mount the receiver outside the box. Seeing as the receiver is waterproof I'm not too concerned but an inconvenience all the same. I took a star off for this.
Binding new receivers is easy and the model memory with name makes it easy to scroll through to the right vehicle.
Great radio easy to set up have no problems with it works great on all my RC cars and trucks I would recommend this to anyone that wants to upgrade a main really help me out by picking his radio their tech guys really know there product. Can’t thank them enough!!!
Great smaller... Inexpensive quality transmitter. Using on Losi Mini T 2.0. Has every adjusment needed.
Very good radio for the money. Very fast. Nice features that are really all that's needed. Thanks Amain. As always.
Excellent entry level radio. Best quality I've seen for the price.
I received my mx6 delivered by FedEx today. This radio system is awesome I give 5 stars across the board. The mx6 is better than futaba 3pv it fits in the hand nice and fingers don't have to reach as far for the throttle. Easy to use menu. I didn't have to bind or pair the radio and receiver to each other. Calibrating to my 510r esc was easy and took less than 2 minutes. Sanwa/Airtronics hit a home run with this system. The receiver is sqaure shaped and fits nice and easy in my Losi 22-4 4wd buggy. Thank you to everyone at AmainHobbies for suggesting the switch to Sanwa. AmainHobbies Customer service is first class 5 stars very knowledgeable and helpful. Aaron Salais Kailua Hawaii
I'll be totally honest. They missed the mark on a few things. Battery, backlight, timer. Basic functions any arduino user could code.
It's great for 99 usd. But I was expecting ... It's ok. I can't express it better then that. It's ok.
Better then a rtr radio? YES. KO propo EX? no.
I probably would have gone futaba in the 136 usd range as a starting radio if I could.
great radio for the price - works as it should - easy to use
It is a high quality transmitter for a fair price, and made by one of the oldest and best RC radio makers.
great item love service awesome hobby love.rc cars and buggy ill support
This controller is an awesome upgrade from stock. While it isn't the top of the line. I think it is a great value. I like the the fact that I can adjust so many things.
Great entry level radio for novice / sportsman racer with adjustability of Epa, throttle, braking for learning
Had a few minor changes that make this fairly versatile radio system a bargain.
Using this transmitter/receiver on an Axial SCX10 II Crawler Kit that is going to my wife. Due to the size of the receiver case, I will remove the existing Axial receiver box from its skid plate and replace it with a larger Element Enduro receiver box ($9).
Because the plastic handle of the MX-6 is a bit slippery, I am wrapping it with the tape ($4) typically used on tennis racket grips.
Foam on steering wheel is marginal for feel; so, I will also be replacing the foam or the entire wheel ($20).
Took a star off for the above issues I needed to address; but, otherwise a nice upgrade radio system.
Can't go wrong with airtronics! The best systems around! Much better response that the systems that come with rtrs. Way more responsive. This is my 3rd, and I've never had any issues with them. Ever.
Quality piece. Not sure on how well it works yet. Purchased as a gift for my Son.
I have not had the opportunity the product has not yet reached the service, it has been a little inefficient.
First I want to say that this is another great quality radio from sanwa. Very easy to use and great for a replacement for your RTR radio system. The only reason I’m giving 4 starts instead of 5 is because when you change the model to use your other vehicle it still will power the other rig unless you turn it off. Ive had both spektrum and futaba systems before and they don’t do that. It’s not really a big deal for the crawler/scale/trail crowd. But for track racers that change cars from the stand it could be a little dangerous. Overall it is a great system.
If you compare this radio system to the similarly priced competitors, in my opinion, this was the better option. Getting back into the hobby and always used Futaba in the past but Im not brand loyal at all. Not disappointed. Will upgrade to an M17 and pass this on to the GF for her TRX. Only complaint would be connector openings are extremely tight...like really tight but its $100 I mean cmon. And to Bill Robarge; you sound like you dont have the first clue of what youre doing. Obviously this isnt a five or four star radio but compared to some Spektrum stuff? You sound bitter for not knowing how to properly setup and operate. You know this isnt focused towards “competitive” turn motor racing right?
