The chevron-styled lugs were created with an innovative back-cut tread and shaved carcass areas imitating the real thing. When rotating, the tread stands tall and provides a strong edge with an impressive amount of forward bite in many conditions. The back-cut section provides a quick transition during high-speed cornering and can conform to changing terrain and obstacles. The side-walls have been treated with wording, designs, and descriptions consistent with 1:1 tires for the ultimate look on the market.
The low profile stance of the Renegades stays very flat during race course competition, speed-runs, or general use. The tire carcass profile holds the weight extremely low while the design of the tire beads allow just the right amount of contact for gluing and application. The Renegades measure in at 5.8 x 4.0 x 2.6 and are available in blue and gold compounds. The soft blue compound is recommended for dirt, grass, and asphalt; it feels noticeably mushy and sticky, having the expanding characteristics similar to off-road racing compounds. The gold compound is much harder to the touch and is more suited for carpet, AstroTurf, and polished concrete surfaces.
